Still, there are recurring problems for which men increasingly require treatment which need to be considered. Men constantly demand motivation from themselves and repeatedly try to exceed their own physical and mental limits. These are just two of many points that can be seen as an external expression of internalized values on what it means to be a man.
The male body often displays symptoms that play an important role in treatment. These not only relate to the sex organs and sexuality — which include a variety of illness and diseases and disorders that are specific to men — they also include distinct characteristics in the male physiology (including metabolism, endocrine system) which in turn strongly correlate to the psyche.
Among most men, the expectations for treatment can be characterized by the mind set of, “repairing the damage as quickly as possible so that everything is working properly again.” This mentality loses sight of the fact that restoring good health is a process which must take many health factors into account.
Important first steps in this process are on one hand, the recognition and formulation of one's own needs and, on the other hand, the honest and clear naming of all existing complaints. While that may sound trite, most men find this sort of preparation extremely difficult. With my knowledge and my understanding of these problems (including my own experiences as a man) as well as my personal method of guidance, I can create conditions that form a basis of confidence in talking man to man and addressing the complex issues together.

A part of my unique approach to the Men's Health is geared towards conversation and through other (such as Lifestyle Regulation Therapy) measures as well as more awareness and action strategies for dealing with the following issues: to create
• Judgment-free perception of their needs
• Recognition of one's own (power) limits
• Learning to relax
• Planned rest periods
• Taking time out
• The goal of doing something for oneself
• Leisure activities away from work, partners, and family
• Identifying and satisfying social needs
• Increased body awareness
Additionally, other therapies (such as Acupuncture, Homeopathy and Phytotherapy) are available depending on the indication; they can be used for holistic, acute, chronic, or constitutional treatment. As part of Men's Health therapy, I offer massages specifically tailored for men, which focus on certain body parts (such as the cranial muscles or the muscles of the lower back) that are typically affected. My personal technique is attuned to the male anatomy that tends to have more pronounced muscles, firm tissue, thicker skin, and stronger bones. I also perform massage targeted for the treatment of certain diseases (such as the prostate).
